Kishwaukee Amateur Radio Club
is an ARRL Affiliate Club founded fifty years ago. Originally known as "The
DeKalb Amateur Radio Club". In the mid 1970's a club Repeater "WA9CJN"
was added, and the name of the club was changed to "Kishwaukee Amateur

Kalb County ARES is active in Emergency and Public Service Communications
for the American Red Cross (De Kalb Chapter) De Kalb County. EOC,
SKYWARN, MS Walk Crop Walk, March of Dimes, De Kalb Air Show and has
been communications hub for the Sycamore Pumpkin Festival
for the past three years. ARES is open to all licensed Amateurs. The only requirement
