Northern Illinois 51st Anniversary Steam Power Show
The Northern Illinois Steam Power Show will be held again on August 14-17 2008.
W9S Special Event
The FCC through the American Radio Relay League has again approved for this event the call sign 'W9S'. These are special 1x1 calls issued only for special event activities. The operating frequencies will be 7.108cw, 7.270, 14.270.
Over 275 certificates were sent to contacts during the last event.
